Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Multiple sites across the San Francisco Bay Area
Schedule: Full-Time, Full School Year (FSY)
Grades: K–12
Caseload: Mild–Severe disabilities
Blazer Jobs is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the Bay Area. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality speech and language services to students across a range of grade levels and disability types.
Responsibilities

Administer academic assessments, prepare reports, and present findings at IEP meetings.

Consult and communicate regularly with faculty and parents via meetings, phone, and email regarding student needs and progress.

Maintain knowledge of current special education regulations and ensure compliance.
-
Collaborate with faculty to ensure student accommodations and modifications are effectively implemented in general education classrooms.

Assist with development of the master schedule to meet all IEP service requirements.
-
Meet all IDEA requirements related to case management, service tracking, and timelines.
-
Develop progress monitoring tools for student goals and share with the IEP team.
-
Collaborate with team members and related service providers to review student data, co-plan, and co-teach as needed.

Oversee paraprofessional support, including scheduling and IEP implementation.
-
Maintain accurate notifications, records, files, and reports in compliance with federal, state, and SELPA requirements.

Implement health and mobility supports as needed (e.g., toileting, g-tube feeding, administration of medication under school nurse supervision).

Maintain high expectations and rigor to ensure equitable access to Common Core standards for students with disabilities.
Qualifications

California SLP licensure required
-
Previous California schools experience preferred
