School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Oakland, CA
We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school-based team in Oakland, California. This full-time, onsite role provides the opportunity to help students improve communication skills and achieve academic success.
Position Details:

Location: Oakland, CA

Employment Type: Full-Time | Local W-2 or Travel Contract

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 35–40 hours/week

Dates: ASAP – End of School Year
Responsibilities:
-
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students across a range of needs.

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
-
Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of progress.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support student communication goals.
Qualifications:
-
Active California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain).
-
CCC preferred. CFs encouraged to apply.

Prior school-based or pediatric experience is a plus.

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Compensation:
-
Local W-2: $60–$65/hour
-
Travel Contract: $2,000–$2,200 weekly gross pay (including tax-free stipends for those who qualify)
