Position Overview:
Oakland Unified School District (OUSD) is seeking 5–7 full-time, onsite Speech–Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide direct services for the 2025–2026 school year. These roles serve students across elementary, middle, and high school levels, with manageable caseloads and strong team support.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services

Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress monitoring

Develop and implement IEP goals
-
Maintain accurate records and documentation
-
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams

Serve 1–2 school sites within the district
Caseload Details:

Maximum caseload: 50 students
-
School level preference (elementary, middle, or high) can be discussed

Assigned to 1–2 schools for consistency and collaboration
Requirements:

Valid California SLP license
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred

School-based experience is a plus
-
Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

Must be able to work onsite only (no teletherapy accepted)
