Remote SLP – Independent Contractor (California)
Location: Remote | K-12 Caseload
Are you a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in California looking for a full-time, flexible role where you can make a direct impact on students’ lives? We’re seeking an experienced SLP to provide virtual therapy services to students K-12. This 1099 independent contractor position offers you the flexibility to work from home, manage your own schedule, and engage in a truly meaningful way with students in need.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing teletherapy sessions to students with various speech and language disorders
- Conducting thorough assessments and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Participating in IEP meetings and working closely with educators and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child
- Documenting student progress and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and submitted in a timely manner
- Navigating the challenges of virtual therapy while building strong relationships with students and families
- Must hold a valid California SLP license
- 2 years previous experience in a school-based setting
- Comfort with virtual therapy platforms and educational technology
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively
- A passion for working with students and making a lasting impact on their educational journey
