Speech Language Pathologist Job
We are seeking a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school-based team in Oak Park, IL. As a part of our team, you will be supported by a team of experienced professionals while gaining valuable hands-on experience in diagnosing and treating speech and language disorders in children. Requirements: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Active or Pending. Illinois SLP License.
Pay Range: $35-$55 per hour, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to track student progress and ensure effective communication.
- Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and assist in developing goals and objectives for students.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active or pending IL SLP License.
- Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with educational staff.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
