This opportunity is for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to provide full-time support within multiple K-12 school settings in St. Louis, MO. The role focuses on serving students in both inclusive and self-contained educational environments, delivering essential speech and language services across several elementary schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Serve students in general education and specialized self-contained classrooms.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with educators and families to support student communication needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Missouri state licensure as an SLP.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
- Monolingual English-speaking skills necessary.
- Experience working in school settings preferred but not mandatory.
Position Details:
- Contract assignment from January 5, 2026, through June 3, 2026.
- Full-time schedule, 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day).
- Placement at multiple locations, including Koch Elementary (3 days/week) and Lewis & Clark Elementary (2 days/week), plus coverage at Southview School’s self-contained classrooms.
- On-site role; remote work is not an option.
