Speech Language Pathologist in Novato, CA

Position Highlights:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students across elementary and middle school settings
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) based on students’ unique needs
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to identify speech or language impairments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student goals and progress
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development opportunities
- Engage creatively with students, using evidence-based practices to maximize communication outcomes
- Stay current with best practices and professional guidelines in the field of speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP or SLPA license or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred, though not required
