Speech-Language Pathologist in Novato, CA

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide on-site services in a K-12 school setting located in Novato, CA. This contract role, starting immediately, will support and alleviate the current SLP caseload, ensuring students receive timely and effective speech therapy services through the end of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students K-12 in an on-site school environment
- Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, progress monitoring, and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Provide consultation and training to school personnel to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate and timely records related to student services and therapy outcomes
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) strongly preferred
- Previous experience working in K-12 school settings
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding special education and related services
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Able to meet a minimum of 35 hours per week on-site

- Location: On-site in Novato, CA
- Duration: Contract through the end of the school year
- Schedule: 35+ hours per week
