Pediatric SLP in Northfield, VT
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Special Educator with case management experience, serving a K-12 school environment in Northfield, VT. This role involves working onsite, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, with 37.5 hours per week and potential additional hours as needed. The position focuses on managing a mixed caseload and replacing a virtual candidate, offering hands-on experience in a dynamic educational setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing speech-language therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels
- Managing individual caseloads and developing tailored treatment plans
- Collaborating with educators, families, and healthcare professionals
- Utilizing skills in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
- Supporting students in both direct therapy and consultative roles
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid SLP license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in healthcare, pediatrics, and school settings
- Background in special education with case management responsibilities
- Strong skills in teletherapy are a plus, though this position requires onsite presence
- Ability to manage diverse student needs and deliver quality care
