Description:
Wilkes County School District is looking to hire a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist licensed in North Carolina to serve students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This position offers the flexibility of onsite or fully virtual work and covers the school year from ASAP through June 5, 2026.
Key Duties:

Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
-
Develop and monitor progress on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
-
Deliver direct speech and language therapy tailored to individual student needs
-
Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to ensure cohesive support
-
Maintain comprehensive documentation consistent with district and legal standards
Qualifications:

Active NC licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
-
ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
-
Experience working in school settings is beneficial
