Desired Qualifications:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Prior school-based SLP experience (K-12) is a strong plus
- Spanish/English bilingual skills highly preferred
- Knowledge of therapy planning, IEPs, and student progress evaluation
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Committed to fostering positive, inclusive learning environments
- Must complete TEA fingerprinting/credentialing prior to start (processing time up to 10 business days)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech/language therapy services to assigned students in a school setting
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans according to student IEP goals
- Assess, evaluate, and document student progress using appropriate tools and standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and collaborate with educational staff regarding student needs
- Offer proactive communication and support to families and faculty
This onsite-only, full-time contract position runs from August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027, and covers up to 37.5 hours weekly at one campus within an engaged and supportive school environment.
