Speech Language Pathologist in North Hollywood, CA

Required Skills and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Proven experience working within school settings
- Strong understanding of therapeutic interventions appropriate for K-12 students
- Familiarity with IEP process and documentation
- Preferred experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans following assessments and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and ancillary staff to support communication development
- Conduct assessments to determine eligibility and ongoing needs for speech-language services
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in alignment with district guidelines
- Offer guidance and support to students utilizing AAC devices to enhance access to curriculum
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable input to student progress and achievements
