An exciting opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide critical support within a K-12 school setting in North Charleston, SC. This contract position runs from ASAP through the end of May 2026, with potential to extend through the end of the school year. The role involves serving two school sites and managing diverse caseloads, including general education, resource students, and Low Incidence programs.
Location: North Charleston, South Carolina
Duration: Contract through 5/29/2026
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to students in general education and specialized programs
- Support students with a range of needs, including those in Low Incidence and Autism Units
- Cover a medical leave at Dunston Elementary until May, then transition to a maternity leave coverage at an elementary school in West Ashley
- Collaborate with educational staff to design and implement individualized treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (no pending licensure accepted)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience working with K-12 students, including resource and Low Incidence programs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with school teams
- No Clinical Fellows (CF) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) considered
