A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide support at an elementary school located in North Charleston, SC. This contractual position involves working closely with students to support their speech and language development in a school environment. The assignment is scheduled for the current school year, with a potential extension through the end of the year.
Location:
North Charleston, SC – Elementary School
Duration:
ASAP (preferably starting January 5) through April 3, with the possibility to extend through the end of the school year.
Work Schedule:
- 7.5 hours/day, 37.5 hours/week
- School holidays and closures: January 19, February 16, April 6-10, May 25
- Existing caseload and schedule; no makeup services currently needed
Qualifications:
- Current South Carolina SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not mandatory
- Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CF) may be considered if supervision is provided and license is active
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to elementary students
- Manage an existing caseload efficiently and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with educators and other staff to support student progress
- Follow all school calendar exclusions and plan services accordingly
