A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a school setting located in North Adams, MA. This contract opportunity supports a caseload primarily at an elementary school serving students from pre-kindergarten through 5th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in students.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational standards.
- Provide direct therapy services to students across the pre-K to 5th-grade range.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC and/or School Certification).
- Experience working in school settings with elementary-aged children.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and prioritize student needs.
- Open to candidates with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) credentials as well.
