A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) is sought for a K-12 school in Norristown, PA. This contract role starts ASAP and continues through the end of the school year, requiring onsite presence. The caseload consists of approximately 30 students, primarily serving middle and high school levels.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and success.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in line with school policies and legal requirements.
- Participate actively in team meetings, contributing to a positive and collaborative learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Experience working with middle and high school students preferred.
- Strong understanding of speech and language disorders and effective intervention methods.
- Ability to work full time onsite and manage a caseload of approximately 30 students.
