Location:
- Broomall, PA area, serving districts including Upper Darby, Yeadon, Broomall, Lansdowne, and Aston.
Position Details:
- Contract role during the current school year (CSY)
- 35 hours per week preferred, with availability for part-time candidates working a minimum of two days per week.
- Typical hours are 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Caseload consists of three SLPs working within an Early Intervention program.
- Flexibility in service area assignment is required to best meet student needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with credentials applicable to school settings (SLP - School, SLP - CCC preferred).
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in educational or early intervention settings.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and coordinate services across multiple school zones.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and therapy teams.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement targeted therapy interventions.
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support each student’s communication goals.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with program standards.
- Adapt therapy approaches to a diverse range of student needs across assigned districts.
