An opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support an elementary to middle school caseload in the Reading Area, PA. This contract position starts immediately and continues through the end of the current school year, providing essential speech therapy services primarily in a middle school setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication development
- Monitoring progress and documenting outcomes in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Providing onsite therapy services with preference given to candidates available to work on location
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with relevant state licensure
- Previous experience working in school settings, preferably serving elementary and middle school students
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders affecting school-age children
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to student-centered intervention and maintaining detailed records
