Full-Time On-Site Elementary Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) | 20252026 School Year
We are actively seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, on-site role serving a vibrant elementary population (K–5) for the 2025–2026 school year. This opportunity is available due to the recent retirement of a well-respected SLP who supported the district for over 15 years—leaving behind a legacy of high-quality therapy services and a collaborative approach that is deeply embedded in the school culture.
The district is eager to fill the position internally, but given limited applicant traction, external and contract SLPs are now being strongly considered. This is a great chance to join a district that values its related service providers and fosters interprofessional teamwork across general education, special education, and student services.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Provide direct speech-language services in accordance with each student’s IEP

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations using standardized assessments (e.g., CELF, GFTA, CASL, etc.)

Develop measurable, goal-driven IEPs in collaboration with general and special educators

Implement therapy interventions addressing receptive/expressive language, articulation, fluency, voice, pragmatics, and AAC

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, progress monitoring, and re-evaluation processes

Provide consultation and support to classroom teachers to help generalize communication strategies

Caseload: K–5 students (mix of push-in, pull-out, and collaborative models)

Setting: On-site only (no virtual/teletherapy options)

Ideal Candidate Profile:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Valid SLP license in the state (or eligibility for licensure)

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFs with strong school-based internship experience will be considered

Experience with a wide range of speech/language disorders and familiarity with the school-based service model

Strong documentation and case management skills

Excellent communication and collaborative abilities
