- Designing and implementing highly effective, evidence-based therapy programs tailored to meet individual student goals outlined in their Individualized Education Programs.
- Providing direct and indirect therapeutic interventions to diverse student populations, addressing a wide range of communication challenges.
- Fostering strong partnerships with teachers, parents, and support staff, ensuring cohesive strategies for student success.
- Systematically monitoring and analyzing student progress, adapting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintaining comprehensive and compliant documentation for all services provided, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
- Engaging actively in collaborative team meetings, offering expert insights to support student planning and development.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional who possesses:
- A valid Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association is highly valued.
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply; comprehensive supervision will be provided to support your professional growth.
- A Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university program.
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric clinical setting is beneficial.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to student-centered practice.
