Requirements & Qualifications
- Active Florida Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License required
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Previous virtual/teletherapy experience strongly preferred
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Strong proficiency with virtual therapy platforms and remote technology
- Ability to conduct evaluations and therapy in both English and Spanish
- Knowledge of cultural considerations for bilingual service delivery
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Personal laptop/computer for service delivery
- Appropriate home office setup for virtual services
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in both languages
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Commitment to full-time independent contractor status (37.5 hours per week)
- Availability for immediate start through May 28, 2026
Responsibilities
- Provide 100% remote speech and language therapy services to elementary and middle school students
- Deliver bilingual (Spanish/English) evaluations and therapy sessions via teletherapy platforms
- Conduct virtual assessments in both English and Spanish as appropriate
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for bilingual learners
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions through secure video technology
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings in English and/or Spanish
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams remotely (bilingual communication)
- Maintain accurate documentation through online systems
- Provide culturally responsive services to Spanish-speaking students and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions through teletherapy
- Communicate effectively with bilingual families and staff
- Use digital assessment tools and virtual materials in both languages
Compensation & Contract Details
1099 Independent Contractor Position:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Immediate start through May 28, 2026
- 100% remote work from anywhere in Florida
- As a 1099 contractor, you are not eligible for benefits or reimbursements
