Speech Language Pathologist in Newport, NH
An excellent contract opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about serving students in a flexible setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, specially designed instruction and related services, as outlined in students’ IEPs. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling—afternoon, evening, and weekend hours all available, making it ideal for professionals seeking to supplement their schedule or work outside regular school hours. Both in-person and remote service models will be considered, though preference will be given to candidates available in-person.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience working in a school setting
- Active New Hampshire OPLC Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification is essential
- Clinical Fellows are not eligible for this position
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to K-12 students in alignment with their IEP goals
- Implement individualized instruction and support as dictated by each student’s needs
- Collaborate with families and guardians to coordinate and arrange sessions at mutually agreeable times within your availability
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress records for each student
- Offer services either in-person or remotely, based on district and family needs
