Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based
Location: Newnan, GA
Employment Type: Full-Time (37.5 Hours/Week)
Contract Dates: July 28, 2025 – May 22, 2026
Caseload: Kindergarten through 5th Grade
Setting: Public School, K–5


Position Overview:

Blazer Jobs is seeking a passionate and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in Newnan, GA, serving a K–5 caseload during the 2025–2026 school year. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through evidence-based speech services in a supportive school setting.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary school students (K–5).

  • Conduct evaluations and write detailed speech/language assessment reports.

  • Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each student’s needs.

  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, and families.

  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning.

  • Maintain thorough records and documentation on student progress.


Qualifications:

  • Active Georgia SLP license (required)

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field

  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings (preferred)

  • ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CFs considered with supervision

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
