A supportive elementary school district in New Castle, CA is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team on a part-time basis. This position offers a flexible schedule and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students who need speech and language support.
Position Details
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Part Time (approximately 40%–45%)
Caseload: 18 students currently, with potential for slight increase
Setting: Elementary school environment
Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy to elementary students

Conduct evaluations, write IEP goals, and maintain accurate documentation

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication needs

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
Qualifications

Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Active California SLP license or eligibility prior to start

ASHA CCCs preferred, CFs considered

School-based experience preferred but not required
