Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship (CF) or Clinical Competency Certificate (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Previous school-based experience, particularly with students in elementary through high school, considered favorable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with educators, parents, and students
- Comfortable with IEP development and implementation, progress monitoring, and relevant documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students’ individual needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to educational objectives
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to design and deliver support strategies within classroom and group settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress reports
- Consult and train staff and families regarding communication strategies and student progress
- Maintain accurate records and comply with applicable regulations and district guidelines
