Key Qualifications and Experience:
- School-based SLP experience is essential; you should be comfortable working throughout the district
- Holds a valid New Jersey SLP licensure (SLP-CCC required)
- Able to efficiently manage caseload needs and adapt to district-wide assignments
- Proficient in conducting comprehensive testing, evaluations, and assessments
- Must provide your own testing materials as required by the district
- Only candidates with reliable transportation and reasonable commute proximity will be considered
- CF and SLPA candidates are not eligible due to supervision requirements
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students district-wide
- Conduct thorough assessments, write evaluation reports, and perform regular caseload management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and parents to support individual student goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP development
- Complete all onboarding requirements, including TB test, physical, and fingerprint clearances for both the agency and district
