A speech-language pathologist (SLP) position is available in a school setting located in Newark, NJ. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students, addressing a variety of pediatric communication disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments and gather caseload details to track student progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly.
- Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with school and healthcare guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the school’s overall efforts to support student development.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) certification with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working in school and pediatric settings.
- Knowledge of healthcare principles related to speech-language therapy.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage caseload details effectively and meet contractual deadlines.
