School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | New Brunswick, New Jersey
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available at an elementary school in New Brunswick, NJ, serving a population of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This contract role spans the current school year, with a start date as soon as possible and an end date of June 23, 2026. The work schedule is 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Responsibilities include providing speech and language therapy services to 5-8 students within the ASD population. The professional will assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans and work collaboratively with educators and families to support students' communication development.
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably with ASD
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders and evidence-based therapeutic techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
