Speech-Language Pathologist (School-Based)
Location: Newark, Delaware
Schedule: Full-Time | 2024–2025 School Year
Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district. The SLP will provide therapy services to students with communication disorders, collaborate with educators and families, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities:

Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy to students across assigned grade levels

Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring in accordance with IEP goals

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders

Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance student outcomes

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state regulations

Support students’ access to curriculum and communication across academic and social settings
Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Delaware SLP License and ASHA CCC-SLP (or CF-eligible)

Previous school-based experience preferred but not required

Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
