School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Newark, DE (2025-2026 SY)
We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school in Newark, DE for the 2025-2026 school year. We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates, and Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply!
Start Date: August 13, 2025
About the Role: You will provide speech and language services to K-8th grade students, helping them develop essential communication skills. This is a great opportunity to make a direct impact on student success in a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities (may vary slightly based on full-time/part-time status):
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-8th grade students.
- Monitor and document student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
- Participate in IEP meetings.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Eligible for or hold a valid Delaware SLP license.
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply! (Supervision will be provided as needed).
- Experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
- Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
