Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in New Prague, MN
Step into a rewarding speech-language role dedicated to student success in a supportive Minnesota educational environment. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work between two lively school sites, supporting a diverse caseload of students from kindergarten through 8th grade. With a flexible weekly schedule of 30-32 hours over four days per week, you can tailor your hours to fit either Monday–Thursday or a Monday–Friday preference. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 6, 2025, with no summer hours required—and there’s strong potential to extend into the following school year.
Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Holds or is eligible for MN licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellow (CF), or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Previous experience in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare settings preferred
- Strong understanding of K–8 student needs, IEP processes, and evidence-based therapy approaches
- Comfortable working with diverse learners and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience or interest in teletherapy services a plus
- Solid organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy for K–8 students across two sites
- Develop and implement individualized goals in line with IEPs
- Collaborate regularly with educators, support staff, and families
- Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to student progress monitoring
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer input on student needs and intervention strategies
- Engage in ongoing professional development
