A K-12 educational institution in New Plymouth, ID is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve during the upcoming school year on a contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for an SLP eager to support students in a dynamic school environment by providing direct speech and language therapy services, replacing teletherapy positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments, maintain detailed records, and monitor student progress.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning efforts.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in school settings and familiarity with K-12 student populations.
- Previous experience in pediatric speech-language pathology preferred.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required for candidates new to the field.
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches suitable for teletherapy replacement.
