Travel Speech and Language Pathologist in New Oxford, PA

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized speech therapy services to preschool-age children with special needs in York and Adams Counties, Pennsylvania. This travel position involves working with diverse early childhood settings including preschool special education classrooms, Head Start programs, Pre-K Counts classes, daycares, and community preschools. The role requires strong expertise in early intervention with a caseload reaching 55 students by the end of the school year.
Location:
- York County: York Learning Center, 300 E Seventh Ave, York, PA
- Adams County: 65 Billerbeck St, New Oxford, PA
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to children ages 3-5 across multiple settings
- Provide services to ‘walk-in’ students brought in by parents for speech therapy
- Maintain caseload targets with a projected 55 students by year-end
- Participate in IEP meetings and complete paperwork equivalent to half a day per week
- Travel between assigned locations as required, with travel included in the work schedule
- Work 35 hours per week based on the 188-day preschool stretch calendar
- Follow appropriate supervision protocols, especially for Clinical Fellows (CF) with agency-provided supervision
Desired Qualifications:
- CCC-SLP credential or Pennsylvania SLP School Certification required
- Experience in early intervention and preschool speech therapy strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage travel between multiple sites
- Clinical Fellows welcome; supervision costs supported
- SLP Assistant (SLPA) support and VOCO tools are not utilized in this position
