Speech-Language Pathologists are needed to provide essential therapy services to preschool children with special needs across multiple locations in Adams, York, and Franklin Counties, Pennsylvania. This travel position offers an exciting opportunity to work within diverse early childhood education settings, including preschool special education classrooms, head starts, daycares, and community preschools.

Location and Work Details:

  • Serve in Adams County (New Oxford), York County (York Learning Center), or Franklin County (Chambersburg).
  • Travel between different sites within assigned counties is required; travel is included in the 35-hour workweek.
  • Position runs through June 2026 with a preschool stretch calendar (188 days/year).
  • Caseload expected to reach approximately 55 students by year-end.
  • Half-day weekly designated for paperwork and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to preschool-aged children (3-5 years) in multiple settings.
  • Provide services to ‘walk-in’ students brought in by parents for speech therapy.
  • Collaborate with educational and early intervention teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Pennsylvania certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Early intervention preschool experience highly desirable.
  • Candidates holding Clinical Fellowship status will be considered; agency supervision must be provided.
  • SLP Assistant support and VOCO devices are not utilized in this role.
