This position offers an opportunity to provide speech-language therapy services to preschool-aged students (3 to 5 years) with special needs within diverse educational settings. The services will be delivered across multiple locations in Adams, York, and Franklin Counties, including preschools, Head Start programs, PreK Counts classes, daycares, and community preschools. The role also includes support for “walk-in” students who receive direct speech therapy services.

- Adams County: New Oxford, PA (65 Billerbeck St)
- York County: York Learning Center, York, PA (300 E Seventh Ave)
- Franklin County: Chambersburg, PA (2397 Loop Rd)
Contract Details:
- Duration: Current School Year (CSY) through June 2026
- Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, 188 days per year following the preschool extended calendar
- Travel among sites incorporated within work hours
- Caseload expected to reach 55 students by the end of the year
- Half-day weekly allocated for paperwork and IEP meetings
- Supervision provided for Clinical Fellows; agencies to cover supervisor costs ($2,000)
- Early intervention preschool experience preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to preschool children with special needs across varied educational settings
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation
- Provide direct services to walk-in students as needed
Qualifications:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (PA Certified)
- CCC-SLP preferred
- Early intervention experience highly desirable
- Ability to travel between multiple sites within assigned county
- Clinical Fellows are welcome, with supervision provided by the agency
