Job Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist – Temporary | New Oxford, PA
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists to support school districts in the New Oxford, PA area. This temporary role runs from approximately two weeks from offer through December 2025, offering an excellent opportunity for professionals to make a meaningful impact in students’ communication and language development.
Position Details:

Location: New Oxford, PA

Schedule: Full-time, school-based position

Pay Rate: $51–$61 per hour (based on experience)

Contract: Leave replacement position starting 2 weeks from offer through December 2025 (renewals for next school year based on performance)
Responsibilities:
-
Provide individualized speech and language therapy to students.
-
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student communication needs.
-
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs).
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student progress.
-
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state regulations.
-
Participate in team meetings, professional development, and planning sessions as required.
Requirements:
Applicants must meet all Pennsylvania state and local requirements for school-based Speech Language Pathologists, including:

Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification.

Valid Pennsylvania SLP certification.
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
-
Experience working with school-aged children preferred.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
