Travel Speech Therapist in New Orleans, LA
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year, located onsite in New Orleans, LA. This travel role serves students across a range of grade levels at a school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to a caseload of students with varying needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ speech and language goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations relevant to speech therapy in the school environment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings.
Caseload Options (please indicate your preference when applying):
- PreK through 8th grade: 50-60 students
- 4th through 8th grade: approximately 55 students
Qualifications:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC preferred)
- Eligibility for or current state licensure to practice as an SLP in a school setting
- Experience working with children in PreK-8th grade environments preferred
- Willingness to work onsite full-time (37.5 hours/week)
- Candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship (CF) are welcome to apply
