Position Overview
A school district in New Orleans is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a collaborative, student-centered educational environment. This role focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language services that promote academic access and functional communication skills.
The SLP will work closely with special education teams, teachers, and families to ensure students receive appropriate and compliant services aligned with their IEP goals.
Responsibilities

Provide direct speech-language therapy services to assigned students

Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress monitoring

Develop, implement, and update IEP goals

Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines

Consult with teachers and families to support carryover of skills

Requirements

Active Louisiana SLP license

ASHA CCCs preferred (CFs may be considered, if applicable)
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
