Pay: $1,800 - $2,200 per week including untaxed stipends
Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and adaptable Travel Speech-Language , Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for a school-based contract position in New Orleans, LA. This role is ideal for professionals looking to combine their love of travel with their commitment to helping students succeed. As a travel SLP, you'll provide direct and consultative speech/language services to a diverse caseload of students, collaborate with school staff and families, and support each student’s communication and academic growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)

Provide therapy services to students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
-
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, special educators, and administrators
-
Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as required
-
Adapt therapy plans to meet students' unique needs in a school environment
-
Travel to/from assigned school(s) or districts as needed
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred (CFs may be considered)

Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
-
Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and build rapport with students and staff

Strong communication and organizational skills
