What You’ll Be Doing
As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in New Orleans, you will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. You’ll work closely with educators and families to support each student’s IEP goals and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations. Whether providing therapy, supporting evaluations, or collaborating on treatment plans, you’ll play a vital role in each student’s growth.
Qualifications and Licensure
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet Louisiana state licensure requirements for Speech-Language Pathologists. Experience in school settings is preferred, especially with IEP development, speech assessments, and collaborative service delivery.
