Hours: 38–40 hours/week, guaranteed
Caseload: K–5th grade
Setting: Onsite only – No virtual option
Position Overview
ProCare Therapy is partnering with a supportive school district in New Kent, VA to hire a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2025–2026 school year. This role will focus on providing direct therapy services, conducting assessments, writing reports, and collaborating closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success.
Responsibilities

Provide individual and group speech and language therapy to students in grades K–5

Conduct evaluations and reevaluations in accordance with IEP timelines

Write and maintain progress reports, IEP goals, and treatment documentation

Collaborate with general education and special education staff to implement strategies

Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations

Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress
Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Valid Virginia SLP license (CCC or CFY candidates welcome)

Prior school-based experience preferred but not required

Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
