School Speech Language Pathologist - New Haven, Connecticut

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting in New Haven, CT. This contract position offers a chance to provide valuable speech and language support to students across one to two locations. The role is onsite and requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week throughout the current school year.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on students’ needs
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Monitoring and documenting student progress to ensure effective intervention
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to the school's multidisciplinary approach
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid SLP certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence - CCC) preferred
- Experience working within schools, especially serving K-12 students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced educational environment
- Knowledge of best practices in speech and language therapy and educational interventions
