Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Position
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. In this role, you will support Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in providing services to individuals with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
Key Responsibilities:

Therapy Implementation: Assist in delivering therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, following treatment plans designed by supervising SLPs.

Screenings and Assessments: Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings as directed, and assist in the assessment process.

Material Preparation: Prepare instructional materials and perform clerical duties such as scheduling and maintaining records.

Equipment Monitoring: Monitor the use of alternative communication devices and systems to ensure proper functionality.

Behavior Management: Implement behavior management strategies during therapy sessions to maintain a positive and productive environment.
Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or a related field.

Valid state licensure or certification as an SLPA.

Prior experience in a clinical or educational setting is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
