Speech-Language Pathologist in Bear, DE
A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide full-time, onsite services at an elementary school setting. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a split caseload that includes traditional and autism spectrum students. The role requires active Delaware SLP licensure and experience working in school-based environments, preferably with elementary-aged children.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Delaware SLP license required
- Prefer school-based experience, ideally with elementary students and diverse caseloads
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within educational teams
- Experience working with students on the autism spectrum a plus
- Reliable transportation for consistent onsite attendance
Location & Schedule:
- Position located in Bear, Delaware at a local elementary school
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Contract duration through June 12, 2026, with an ASAP start date
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy tailored to individual student needs on-site only
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress in compliance with school policies
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related services staff to support student success
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to educational planning for caseload students
