Speech Therapist in Middletown, DE
An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support an early childhood educational setting in Middletown, DE. This position is a school year contract running from ASAP to June 8th and focuses on serving young children through speech and language therapy services.
Key responsibilities include delivering individualized speech-language interventions to a caseload of approximately 45 early childhood students. The role requires close collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans that support students' communication development. The clinician will also be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with state educational standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in Delaware
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred or Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) acceptable
- Experience working within school-based settings, ideally with early childhood populations
- Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills tailored to children aged 3-5 years
