A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to cover a maternity leave in a K-12 school setting located in Bear, Delaware. This contract position requires an immediate start and will span the current school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in pediatric and healthcare-related SLP services
- Ability to provide assessment and therapy for students across grades K-12
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Familiarity with school-based speech-language protocols and documentation
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language evaluations and interventions to students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school policies and state regulations
- Participate in meetings related to student progress and special education services
