Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Edison, New Jersey
This contract role is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position serving two schools within a public school district in Edison, NJ. The assignment runs from ASAP through June 19, 2026, with a 32.5-hour workweek Monday through Friday. The position supports students from early childhood through 5th grade and involves covering overflow caseload needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to a caseload within early childhood to 5th grade.
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education programs (IEPs), and deliver direct and indirect therapy as required.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Adhere to district policies and utilize the designated IEP system with provided training.
- Participate in paid team meetings and complete administrative duties related to therapy services.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), preferably with an SLP CCC credential.
- Pediatric and school-based SLP experience preferred.
- Ability to manage itinerant caseload responsibilities effectively.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to engage in professional development and district training.

- This contract requires fingerprint clearance prior to start.
