A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a travel assignment in New Britain, CT, serving an elementary school setting. Key Details:
- Position: Full-time Speech-Language Pathologist

- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM (35 hours/week)
- Assignment Dates: Start ASAP through June 9, 2026
- Caseload: Approximately 50 students with various disability categories in inclusion settings
- Setting: Onsite, no specialized classrooms

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; candidates with Clinical Fellowship (CF) status considered
- No Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) accepted
- Prior school-based experience is required
- Active Connecticut SLP license
- District fingerprinting and background clearance mandatory
- Ability to adapt caseload due to fluctuating student enrollment
- Interview conducted via Zoom
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy to students across a range of disabilities within inclusive classrooms
- Collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district regulations
- Participate in professional development and team meetings as required
