Position Details:

- Split placement between two elementary schools (specific sites to be determined)
- Onsite role with hands-on collaboration with school staff and students

Qualifications:
- Hold current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP); candidates with Clinical Fellowship (CF) status are also welcome to apply
- Active Connecticut SLP license
- Experience working in school settings is required
- Ability to work with a broad range of disability categories within inclusion settings (no specialized classrooms)
- Compliance with district fingerprinting and background checks
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- SLPA candidates will not be considered for this role
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services in an educational environment
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs for students with communication disorders
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation following regulatory and district requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations
