Key responsibilities:
- Providing speech-language therapy services to middle and high school students
- Supervising SLPAs in compliance with Connecticut state guidelines
- Collaborating with educational staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation
- Participating in team meetings and providing consultation as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Connecticut license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Connecticut educator certification related to Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with adolescent students in school settings
- Ability to provide onsite supervision to SLPAs as required by state law
- Strong communication and organizational skills
This position is ideal for a licensed SLP seeking a flexible, part-time role focused on secondary school populations within the public education system. Being onsite is essential, as virtual supervision is not permitted in Connecticut.
